Iron Will

With the development of new technologies, humanity invented the "Esence", a substance capable of giving life to inanimated objects. This was how the Masters created the Marionettes, robots made of Esence-infused tin that would help people with hard, manual tasks, very popular among factories and artisans.

The first models, with its simple articulations and made of cheep tin, couldn't absorb that many Essence, so they could only perform easy tasks such as move heavy objects or act as messengers. But recently, the old models are being replaced by a new, faster, more intelligent Marionette called A-0T1N, built with an alloy between steel and Essence, the Essential Steel.

As their popularity grew, so it did the prices of the resources to build them. To make them more affordable, the Masters decided to recycle and melt the old models into the new ones, searching and "deactivating" them with another new invention: The Anti-Essence. Just with a little amount of it is possible to snatch the life of any Essence-infused robot. Despite of being really effective, it is not infalible. If it remains a slightly amount of Essence in such marionette, it can multiply and expand itself through its tin body and make it regain life. That's why some Marionettes end up in the Foundry fully conscious or "Lucid", as they call them. This is the case of Oz, that has awaken in their worst of their nightmares...Will they be able to escape from the Foundry and return home safe and sound?
